The Asian Development Bank would like to invite you to register for the inaugural flagship event called Healthy Oceans Technology and Finance Forum: Innovative Solutions for Asia and the Pacific, which will be held virtually on 26 - 28 January 2022. The forum will share with ADB’s developing member countries and other stakeholders the latest innovations, technologies, and practical solutions, with the aim of enhancing knowledge for increased and more impactful investments towards healthier marine and coastal ecosystems. The forum will include technology and innovation that supports the sustainable implementation of the three flagship programs of ADB’s Action Plan for Healthy Oceans and Sustainable Blue Economies: (i) Coastal Resilience, (ii) Marine Plastics, and (iii) Ocean Finance and the Blue Economy.
The forum will have sessions on these four thematic tracks:
1. From Source to Sea: Towards a Plastic-Free Ocean
2. Building Resilience: Investing in Coastal Ecosystems and Communities
3. Ocean Finance; and
4. Blue Foods
The Ocean Finance thematic track (detailed below) may be of particular interest to the Conservation Finance Alliance community.
