Procurement Notice: Coastal Ecologic for GCF Proposal in Caribbean (UNDP)

nder the Climate Change Adaptation Programme, UNDP is working with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (5 Cs) to formulate a 8-year program “Operation Coastal Resilience (OCR): Innovative Financing for Nature-based Solutions that Support Climate-resilient Caribbean Islands” for submission to the Green Climate Fund (GCF). The overall objective of the OCR program is to reduce the climate vulnerability and increase the resilience and sustainability of coastal populations and ecosystems across the Caribbean by scaling up nature-based solutions (NBS) to adaptation—particularly through innovative financing mechanisms that address long-term NBS costs. .

We kindly invite you to submit your offer for a consultant to perform as Coastal Ecologist for Green Climate Fund Proposal Pre- Feasibility Study, as detailed in Annex 1 of this Individual Contract Procurement Notice; when preparing your offer, please be guided by the form attached hereto as Annex 2.
