Workshop on Environmental Tax Reform by IEEP

The IEEP would like to invite you to attend a workshop on environmental tax reform for biodiversity and sustainable land use, which will take place in Berlin on 25 April 2017. The agenda for this workshop can be found here.

The aim of these workshops is to exchange views and build capacity on the lessons learned on and future possibilities for environmental tax reform, with a view to unlock financing for biodiversity and sustainable land use.

Topics up for discussion at the workshop include: opportunities and barriers to the use of economic instruments, methods of engagement, windows of opportunity to engage, and designing instruments to improve their acceptability.

Please note that the IEEP has some funding available to cover the cost of travel and hotels for some workshop participants, so please let them know if this is a pre-requirement for your participation.

The workshop is by invitation only, so please register with Sandra Mootoosamy (smootoosamy@ieep.eu) if you are able to attend. Also, feel free to spread the word to other colleagues who may be interested.
